When you start making your own wine, beer or cider, the Demijohn is an ideal product. In combination with the brew bottle you need an airtight lock, this will allow air to escape from the bottle during the fermentation process. All you need to do for this process is fill the lock one-quarter full with water. If you want to brew your own wine, you need two Demijohn bottles for 6 bottles and two airtight locks - available separately or in a combination deal.
